About Me

Hi, I'm Lexie! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Equus Coach who believes healing happens best when we step outside traditional therapy rooms and into the natural world.

Through my own recovery, I discovered the profound healing power of horses, nature, and holistic approaches. Starting at 16, I began training in pranic healing and now hold three levels of certification in this energy work, with countless hours of practice and study. I lived extensively in Australia and Bali to deepen my studies in mental health and mindfulness, experiences that fundamentally transformed my understanding of healing.

Before pursuing my master's degree, I worked as a therapeutic riding instructor for special needs children – an experience that showed me firsthand how powerful the human-animal connection could be for healing. I also taught yoga in diverse settings, bringing movement and mindfulness to schools, women's shelters, stroke survivors, and communities of all skill levels. These experiences taught me that healing looks different for everyone and happens in many forms.

Today, I blend my lifelong horsemanship experience with professional therapeutic training to offer something truly unique. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Equus Coach, I specialize in Equine Assisted Therapy, Nature Based Therapy, EMDR, and Mind-Body approaches – creating personalized healing experiences that meet you exactly where you are.

Whether we're working together in my office, on nature trails, or alongside horses at local farms throughout Boulder, Golden, and Denver, my goal is simple: to help you regulate your nervous system, process difficult experiences, and discover your own innate capacity for healing.

Every session is tailored to your unique needs because your healing journey is as individual as you are. I welcome clients of all ages who are ready to explore healing in a different way.

When I'm not in session with clients, you'll find me continuing my own learning, spending time in nature, or working with my therapy dog who often joins our sessions to support co-regulation and EMDR stabilization work.
