Where: Farm in Longmont, CO
Join us for a trauma skills group at a stunning ranch in Longmont, where you'll develop self-regulation, grounding, and tranquility amidst life's challenges. Ages 18+
This group offers the opportunity to deepen understanding of trauma and complex PTSD through a mind–body, nature-oriented perspective. Together, we will explore practical tools for self-regulation, anxiety management, and nervous system support. Horses and the natural environment will serve as allies in fostering awareness, resilience, and a greater sense of safety.
Alongside these practices, participants will also engage in meaningful group experiences, cultivating community and connection while uncovering the power of collaboration, reflection, and shared healing with one another and with the horses.

Join us for an enchanting two-day journey at Higher Ground Healing in Lookout Mountain, where young explorers will discover the magic of connecting with horses and nature.
Through gentle groundwork with our therapy horses, mindful nature activities, and creative expression, children will build confidence and emotional awareness in a safe, supportive environment.
Each day includes structured activities, animal interactions, and mindfulness practices, all while being guided by licensed mental health professional - Lexie Glisson.
Limited to a small group to ensure personalized attention and maximum engagement.

This intimate retreat combines the wisdom of equine-assisted therapy with nature-based mindfulness practices, creating a powerful container for personal growth and stress release. Through gentle yet profound interactions with our therapy horses, you'll practice setting healthy boundaries, deepen your relationship with yourself and others, and learn practical tools for managing life's challenges.
Our carefully crafted program includes embodied movement practices, intuitive exercises with our horses, and therapeutic discussions that help you move from overthinking to trusting your inner wisdom. In our small group setting (maximum 8 participants), you'll discover how to listen to your body's wisdom while building meaningful connections in a supportive environment.
